Lil Angels Letter

Below is a letter received from the friend of a mum, whom was very grateful to Lil Angels for all the work they do...

Dear Tammy,
I have received an email from friends of mine (Chris and Jenny) which gave me your name and email address. I wanted to take the opportunity to express my own thanks to Lil Angels.

My husband and I were in Kirsty's room at the Mater Hospital the day Kirsty and Richard received a box (delivered via the social worker), containing some of the loveliest little baby clothes. Sadly Kirsty had delivered their baby stillborn at 23 weeks only hours before receiving the box. It was, as you will understand, a very sad day.

As the little clothes were passed around, and we were all able to see the tiny smocking, so carefully done, the lovely little angel's wings neatly stitched to the backs of them, and the tiny booties, we were all touched at such kindness.

I have never heard of such a ministry before, but it brought smiles through the tears.

Little Lylibella's funeral was yesterday. One of the midwives, Sally, from the hospital came along, allowing me an opportunity to say how lovely I felt the staff at the hospital were, and I asked her then to please pass on our appreciation for the work of Lil Angels. She agreed that you are an amazing bunch of women.

So thank you for the work you do.  I did try and find a website so I could express our appreciation, but wasn't able to find one.

Keep up the great work. Your kindness touches many.

Kind Regards,
Julie
